Animation for Conservation
Mr Sekhar Mukherjee, Coordinator, Animation Film and Design, National Institute of Design (NID), Ahemdabad
Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. It is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision. This could be anything from a flipbook to a motion picture film.
Bound only by imagination, it calls for fantasy, lore of tools and grasp of its infinite powers. In exchange it offers total control over a world of artist's creation. In this workshop, enter the world of animation with Shekar and learn the art of animation first hand from the expert himself.
