Natural heritage is our legacy
from the past, what we live with today, and what
we pass on to future generations. Natural heritage
is both irreplaceable sources of life, livelihoods,
food security, recreation and much more. These
legacies are today under serious threat from pollution,
ill-conceived or poorly planned economic development,
increased impact of tourism, natural disasters,
lack of management skills, lack of awareness,
etc. The symposium is aimed at identifying the
various challenges faced in the conservation of
natural heritage in the country and to suggest
ways to address these challenges.
