For the outstanding programme featuring stirring account of animal(s) and plants, other non-human living creatures in their natural habitat or ecosystem. The films should portray lesser-known aspects of their life

Wildlife Conservation Award

Award for the production that most effectively sensitizes audiences about social, environmental, economic aspects of man and wildlife relationship. The films can depict successes, conflicts, trade, crime, wildlife governance, legislations, courts interventions, or profile the great defenders of wildlife in the country.

THERMEX Water for All Award

For the best programme educating people about water sources, pollution, conservation, social and management issues, corporatization, water conflicts or solutions.

Delhi Chief Minister's Environment Conservation Award

For the production featuring environmental conservation issues, either unveiling a new issue or offering a new approach to an existing one. Films on environment and health, toxicity, mining, pollution, waste, eco-tourism, energy or renewable energy, green buildings, alternative vehicles or fuels, activist oriented, corporate accountability etc. could be entered in this category.

HSBC Festival Theme: Climate Change Award

The production that portrays the science or signs of climate change or its impact on ecosystems, agriculture, food security, health, human settlements, especially in the coastal areas in the years to come or global politics of climate change.
