Chennai Vatavaran Travels 2004- India's Exclusive Environment & Wildlife Film Festival was organised by C.P.R. Environmental Education Centre and Centre for Media Studies.

Chennai Film Festival was a stimulating and surprising voyage of discovery. 30 internationally and nationally acclaimed Vatavaran award documentary films offered unique and engaging, new perspectives and techniques, and stories that needed to be heard. Enriching and serious discussions with legendary filmmakers and eminent and leading conservationist was a learning experience for participants.
