Heartiest Congratulations to all Nominees!
The Final Jury will view the nominated films and select the CMS VATAVARAN 2007 Awards winners. The Awards will be announced on 16th September 2007 at 11:30 am, on the concluding day of the Festival.
Like the previous years, CMS VATAVARAN 2007 received good response
from filmmakers and there are 206 submissions in TEN Indian
categories and 54 submissions in the six International Categories.
This is a big figure considering the fact that the festival
accepted entries of productions made from January 1, 2005 till
June 30, 2007.
The 25 members Nomination Jury with diverse backgrounds, from
different parts of India was chaired by Dr. K P Jayasankar,
Professor and Chair, Centre for Media and Cultural Studies,
TISS, Mumbai.
Screenings
All the Nominated Films would be screened during the festival from Sep 12-16, 2007, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The detail programme and screenings schedule would be available shortly on the website.
