Mobile Filmmaking Workshop at Sharda University

As part of the Breath of Change – International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies campaign by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) and the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), implemented through CMS VATAVARAN and Delhi-NCR EIACP Centres, Sharda University hosted an immersive Mobile Journalism (MoJo) Workshop from 31 July – 2 August 2025. A total of 67 students were trained by renowned MoJo expert Ritesh Taksande, who guided them through the entire process of mobile storytelling—from storyboarding and framing to interviews, sound design, and editing. The three-day workshop encouraged students to explore how air pollution impacts their communities and how they can creatively capture these insights through film. The workshop concluded with the production of several short films, each reflecting fresh youth perspectives on air quality, which will now compete in the Breath of Change Short Film Competition.
