Ms P N Vasanti is the Director General of CMS and is responsible for overseeing all initiatives and management. She specializes in strategy development, designing, researching and evaluating development communication initiatives. Vasanti is a PhD scholar at JNU on media studies and has double Masters degrees in Psychology and Management. She often gives talks, lectures, writes on the current Media Scene and Trends in India (regular column in Mint called Fine Print since 2008); Use of Mass Communication in Development Programs; Role and Impact of Mass media; Communication Research; Behavior Change Communication and Entertainment Education Strategy. Vasanti has been an active advocate for more accountable media and been part of the Ministry Committee in drafting the Content Guidelines for the Broadcast Sector.

A seasoned professional and a strong problem-solver with over decades of experience in strategic/social bent in large-scale Programme Design, Training, Planning & Management. A Social Scientist and an advocacy persona who has applied knowledge and expertise in utilizing various innovative mediums as a tool for social and environmental advocacy.

Expertise in conceptualizing and executing impact/social/environmental campaigns using films as a tool, Mr Sabyesachi Bharti is currently working as the Deputy Director, CMS VATAVARAN and as a team leader, his responsibilities include devising, creating and curating innovative interventions in social change using media as a tool.

He has successfully executed several ground-breaking socio-environmental projects for various national and international organizations like the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)’s “Her&Now – Celebrating Women Entrepreneurship” in 32 tier two and three cities in Rajasthan, Delhi and UP, High Commission of Canada in India’s several environmental initiatives, UNDP India’s “SECURE Himalaya” Festival in four cities of the Indian Himalayan Region and the Leprosy Mission Trust India’sHEAL India campaign” in Delhi, UP and Chhattisgarh and Asia's first online film festival initiated by Culture Unplugged Studios in 2008, are few of them.

He has also contributed as a Jury/nomination Jury for several film festivals like the Greater Philadelphia Student Film Festival, USA, the National Science Film Festival of India and the International Science Film Festival of India, the Prakriti Film festival by the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) and Prasar Bharti Annual Awards are few of them.

He is also an active member of the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (CEC) since 2018.

Sukanta Kumar Sahoo (Sr.Manager (Accounts & Finance)): MBA in Finance, IMT, UP. He has more than 18 years of experience in the accounts management, taxation (Direct & Indirect tax), statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit, financial report, statutory compliances, project fund management etc. Currently serves as Sr. Manager, Accounts & Finance at CMS VATAVARAN.

Dipendra Mishra (IT Manager): Master Degree in Computer Application. He has over 16 years of experience in monitoring software and hardware operations and has managed multiple software programs for various projects in CMS. Presently he is working as Sr.IT Manager in CMS VATAVARAN.

Ms. Kavita Rakheja is a Manager (Coordination) in CMS. She has done Masters in Hindi. She has more than 18 years of experience in administration and implementation of knowledge drive programs. She is diversely capable and has handled effectively the multiple roles of the coordinating, documentation and implementation of various projects at CMS

Ms. Preeti Kashyap holds a Master of Arts Degree in Mass Communication Advertisement & Journalism, diploma in Computer Science and PG diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development from IGNOU. She has experience of working on graphic design software (Corel draw, Photoshop) HTML and DTP. Graduated from University of Delhi. She coordinates with various academic institutes for enrolling participation and provides all relevant support in organising various webinars, competitions, film screenings, workshops, etc. At present she is working as Sr. Executive at CMS VATAVARAN since, 2013.

Mr Lal Singh Mr Lal Singh is Pursuing graduation in IGNOU, New Delhi. He has also experience of working on, Koha, Filemaker Pro and Ms Office. At present He is working as Executive at CMS VATAVARAN since April, 2017.

Mr. Kencho Dorji, a Senior Executive at CMS VATAVARAN and a passionate Bhutanese environmental advocate committed to fostering a greener, healthier India. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship Education from the School of Global Studies, Thammasat University in Thailand, Kencho seamlessly blends Bhutanese spirit with 7 years of diverse experience from Asia-Pacific region in media, OTT platforms, and education. His mission? To revolutionize the world through the powerful mediums of film, engaging dialogue, and impactful action.

Yash Vashist, a Journalism and Mass Communication graduate, currently serves as an executive at CMS Vatavaran. Specializing in environmental communication, he seamlessly merges media expertise with a dedicated commitment to advancing sustainability initiatives at CMS Vatavaran.
