About the Speakers

Laurel Chor

Independent journalist, photographer, documentary filmmaker, and National Geographic Explorer. She focuses on conflict and climate change, with reporting from over 30 countries.

Dr. Purnima Devi Barman

Wildlife biologist and conservationist from Assam, India. She's the founder of the Hargila Army, an all-female conservation initiative, and a recipient of the UNEP Champion of the Earth award.

Dr. Bibhab Kumar Talukdar

Leading wildlife conservationist from India and Founder & CEO of Aaranyak. He plays a central role in conserving India's key species and serves as the Chair of the IUCN Asian Rhino Specialist Group.
