Subject Focus: Control of flourosis by providing safe drinking water.

Summary: All 32 districts of Rajasthan are stricken with Flourosis – a condition caused due to excessive fluoride in drinking water, which is aggravated due to insufficient rainfall, and receding ground-water levels in Rajasthan. The affected children develop psychological problems due to ugly discoloration of teeth & disfigured limbs. This problem has not received due attention and priority. The documentary delves into the problem of flourosis and also focuses on some scientific and medical initiatives for treatment and control of flourosis.
