Producer’s/Director’s Profile: Urmi Chakraborty started acting in films and TV since 1989 and started directing since 1994. She has directed many films, which were financed by I & B Government of India. A documentary Infiltrators by Films Division, Mumbai has won the best national award as a best documentary in the year 2000. And feature film Hemanter Pakhi financed by NFDC, Mumbai won the national award as best Bengali feature film in 2002 and was nominated for Indian Panorama 2002.
