Subject Focus: This film is about wildlife conservation and natural resource management through honey bees.

Summary: Honey is the one of important natural product recommended for health and medicinal purpose. It is a high quality biochemical natural product received from the wild life. For collection of honey, more than 80% of the bee colonies are damaged to harvest only 30-35% honey. It is well known about the honey but common people have least knowledge about their wild life of natural habitat. It is highly undesirable and unscientific method to harvest honey from the environment, which damages this valuable wild life very fast.

Producer’s/Director’s Profile: Prashant Shashikant Kulkarni is a Producer- Cameraman at Audio Video Centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik since 1992. He has produced about 50 video programmes related to every aspect of life in various types of presentation techniques. He received award for Overall Best Educational Video Programme Production at University Grants Commissions Annual Video Festival held at Ahmedabad in 1994. His deep interests are in the areas of wildlife; nature and art related video programmes.
