Delhi, September 1, 2023 - The Centre for Media Studies (CMS), in collaboration with the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, is excited to announce the launch of the 'Green Frames: VATAVARAN Short Film Competition and Festival 2023.'

Goa will be hosting it’s first-ever green film festival and forum on LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)

Bhutan, “the land of the Thunder Dragon” will be hosting it’s first-ever film festival and forum on Climate Action and Biodiversity conservation from the 2nd to the 7th of November in Thimphu and Paro.

India’s longest standing and largest green film festival, CMS VATAVARAN announced the winners of the 11th competitive edition today. A total of 824 entries were submitted to this competition from 61 countries (international section) and 22 states in India (national section).

To announce and promote the 11th edition of CMSVATAVARAN International Film festival and Forum on Environment & Wildlife, a series of programs as curtain raiser week was launched today.

First time in its history, Asia’s biggest Environmental Film Festival and Forum CMS VATAVARAN is organizing its Awards Jury Meet at Hyderabad from December 19-21, 2021 at the Pragati Green Meadows and Resorts Ltd, Hyderabad.

September 15, 2021 - The three-day green film festival and forum being organised at Sidkeong Tulku Forest Conference Hall, Deorali, Gangtok. The festival began with a lamp lightning ceremony by all the eminent dignitaries present during the occasion.

August 14, 2021- A unique three-day green film festival and forum is being organized for the first time in Gangtok. This festival is scheduled from September 15 to 17, 2021.

The 10th Competitive edition of CMS VATAVARAN – Asia’s largest Film festival and Forum exclusively on Environment and Wildlife is all set to be inaugurated at 10 am on Nov 27, 2019 in Dr Ambedkar International Centre, 15 Janpath New Delhi.

Shri Suresh Prabhu, currently India’s Sherpa to the G20 and former cabinet minister, GOI is heading a 12-member jury for the coveted CMS VATAVARAN Environment & Wildlife Film Festival Awards which is being held from August 30th to 31st at the Lemon Tree Premier, Aero city in New Delhi.

A total of 77 Indian and International films have been nominated in nine categories out of the total 1020 submissions that were received for the 10th competitive edition.

The 10th Competitive Edition of CMS VATAVARAN Environment and Wildlife Film Festival and Forum scheduled to be held from November 27-30, 2019, has received a total of 1020 film entries from 60 countries.
