SIRMOUR VATAVARAN TRAVELS 2006
Environment and Wildlife Film Festival

Venue: Govt. High School, Moginand, Dist. Sirmour

The second year of the CMS VATAVARAN Traveling Festival touched Sirmour, a small district of Himachal Pradesh, India from June 1-3, 2006. The festival was organized by CMS in active association with Shivalik Eco Club, Govt. High School at the school premises in Moginand, Dist. Sirmour. The event comprised of screening of 13 captivating and educational films on environment conservation along with interactive discussions and educational games. The festival saw participation from approximately 1000 students from grade VI to X of Govt. High School. Special screenings were also organized for local rural women and also for a group of physically challenged students and members of a local NGO during to sensitize them about environmental problems.
