Centre for Media, New Delhi is organizing Bangalore CMS VATAVARAN 2006 - 'Environment and Wildlife Film Festival' in the garden city of India which is blessed with a salubrious climate, gardens & parks, natural lakes, architectural landmarks and more. Bangalore is the ideal gateway to India and beyond.

Bangalore CMS VATAVARAN 2006 is being held in collaboration with Suchitra Film Society and Alliance Francaise de Bangalore in support with Asian Nature Conservation Foundation and ATREE. The Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India is supporting this initiative.

The festival will reach out to approx. 5000 people which will include filmmakers, NGOs, Govt organizations, environmentalists, researchers, conservationists, policy makers, activists, public and private Sector organizations, students from schools, colleges, mass communication institutes, general public, etc
